The conference provides a platform for students to engage in diplomatic simulations, fostering a strong MUN culture and promoting student participation in recreational, social and cultural activities. Do all delegates receive the same guide and sample position paper?
Yes. AUBMUNC ensures a standardized experience for all delegates by providing the same Official Position Paper Guide. However, delegates in specialized committees will also receive additional, committee-specific details in their Background Guides.
What are the guidelines for how the position paper should be?
The Official Position Paper Guide applies to all committees and covers structure, formatting, and expectations. The Committee Background Guide is specific to your committee, providing deeper insight into topics and key issues. You can also access the online training modules on your portal to further guide you through the process.
What should be included in the header of the position paper?
Your header should include: your country name, your committee, your topic, your delegate ID and the official coat of arms of your country
Is BEYMUN the same as AUBMUNC?
Yes! AUBMUNC is the revamped version of BEYMUN - they are part of the same legacy and conference tradition.
Are there any committees offered in other languages, such as Arabic or French?
No, all AUBMUNC committees are conducted in English.
Is accommodation available for national delegates (delegates living in Lebanon)?
Accommodation is not provided for national delegates. However, if a delegation requires lodging, the AUBMUNC team can assist with arrangements - costs must be covered by the school or university.
Can middle schoolers participate in AUBMUNC?
Yes! AUBMUNC is open to middle school and high school students.
How can I pay the conference fee(s)?
School delegation advisors will receive payment details and handle all group payments online through the AUBMUNC website using a Whish account.
When is the deadline for registration?
The registration deadline is November 23, 2026.
Can I register as an independent delegate?
Yes, independent delegate registration is open until November 23, 2026. Please use the registration link.
When is the Mock Conference, and is it mandatory to attend?
The Mock Conference will take place on February 20, 2027. Yes, attendance is mandatory.
What is the maximum number of students allowed in a delegation?
There is no limit to the number of students who can be part of a delegation.
When is the on-campus training session taking place?
The training session will be held on January 9, 2027.
Is attendance mandatory for the online training session?
Attendance is not mandatory for the Online Training Session.
Can a passport be used as an ID?
Yes, a valid passport may be used as your form of identification if you do not have a national ID.
Will there be a discount on delegate fees?
Yes, there will be a discount option for public school students. However, please note that you should fill out the petition on the website.
Is the On-Campus Training Session mandatory to attend?
Yes, attendance for the On-Campus Training Session is mandatory.
What does the delegate fee cover?
The Mandatory Training Session, the On-Campus Mock Conference, the Final Conference, plus access to opportunities, scholarships, awards, and delegate stationery for the program.
How much is the delegate registration fee?
$90 per delegate for private and semi-private schools. Public schools can request a discounted rate by petition.
How many advisors can a school bring?
Up to four per institution. Schools needing more can request additional advisors by petition.
Is a chaperone required?
Only for middle school delegations. A $35 chaperone fee applies; each middle school delegation must be accompanied by at least one adult chaperone.
Are there certificates or awards for participants?
Yes. Eligible delegates receive a certificate of participation and may be recognized through conference awards. Exceptional participants may also gain access to scholarships, internships, and other academic or professional opportunities.

What happens if we miss the registration deadline?
Registrations submitted after November 23, 2026, may still be accepted during a late-registration period, but additional fees may apply.
Can AUBMUNC visit our school to introduce the conference?
Yes! The AUBMUNC team is offering Anniversary School Visits to participating and prospective institutions. Email [email protected] with your available dates and times, and let us know if you'd like the visit to include your administration and/or students.
Can a school send both a middle school and a high school delegation?
Yes! Schools with both grade levels are welcome to register separate delegations for each.
